VBS is June 8-11 at Christ Community in Kansas City, MO. Registration opens April 1st.

KANSAS CITY, MO — Christ Community Church invites children to experience Illumination Station VBS, a fun-filled four-day program where kids will discover how light reveals who Jesus truly is. The event will take place June 15-18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brookside Campus, located at 400 W 67th Street.
Illumination Station VBS is designed for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the 2026-2027 school year. Through engaging activities, games, music, and Bible stories, children will play their way through four evenings of interactive learning that illuminates the character and teachings of Jesus Christ.
“We’re excited to welcome children from throughout the Kansas City community to Illumination Station,” a church representative shared. “VBS is a wonderful opportunity for kids to make new friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus in an engaging, age-appropriate environment. We can’t wait to see how God will work in their hearts this summer.”
Christ Community Church is seeking adult and student volunteers to help make VBS 2026 a success. Middle school and high school students are welcome to serve alongside adult volunteers. The church provides childcare for children ages five and under for the children of volunteers, and dinner is served at 5:15 PM each evening for volunteers and their families.
Registration is now open for both children and volunteers. Families are encouraged to register early to secure their child’s spot. The event is free and open to the community, providing an accessible opportunity for children to experience the love of Christ in a welcoming, supportive environment.
