LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Scientology Media Productions’ Signature Performances documentary Mark Isham: The Voice Within has earned a nomination for a 2026 Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) in the Music Documentary – Special Program category.

This year’s nominees feature documentaries on some of the most influential artists in music, including Mark Isham: The Voice Within, Man on the Run (Paul McCartney), Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel, Linda Perry: Let It Die Here and Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special (Miley Cyrus). Also nominated is 40 Watts From Nowhere.

The documentary takes viewers inside the creative world of Grammy and Emmy-winning composer and trumpeter Mark Isham, whose career spans more than four decades and over 400 film and television projects. Tracing his evolution from jazz and electronic music pioneer to acclaimed Hollywood composer, the film follows Isham as he brings together an extraordinary ensemble of musicians, including drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, guitarist Nels Cline, bassist Kaveh Rastegar, vocalist Ayo Awosika and the Orchid Quartet, to blend free-form jazz with electronica for At the Carousel Club, his first new album in 15 years.
